Welcome to the

Clinton Alternative Energy Committee Website!
(CAEC)

The CAEC is exploring alternative energy opportunities for the town of Clinton in both wind and solar technologies. We are pursuing state and federal grant opportunities to help defray part of the implementation cost to the town. We are also exploring grant opportunities from the local power utility, National Grid.

We have been instrumental in helping the town and the school system implement energy and cost saving measures, and we are constantly exploring grant opportunities and programs to extend these savings.

We Need Your Input:

We ask for your continued help in and support of our endeavors. If you have questions, comments or suggestions, please let one of our members know. You can contact and correspond with us at info@clintonaec.org.

We welcome you to check back frequently to get the latest news on the efforts to bring renewable energy to Clinton, and at the same time save Clinton money. We will not be successful unless we are all in this together!

Session 2:  Renewable Energy: Questions and Decisions

Tuesday, October 18, 7:00-8:30 PM

In the Library at The Clinton High School

200 West Boylston Street
Clinton, MA 01510

While introducing  energy conservation measures goes a considerable way to lowering energy costs, implementing a renewable energy source for some or all of your energy needs will ultimately yield the biggest bang for the buck—be you a homeowner, small business owner, or community, such as the Town of Clinton. This second of the two-part energy series sponsored by the Clinton Alternative Energy Committee will look at the various renewable energy options available to individuals, businesses, and our community. Assessing the feasibility of a particular renewable energy source for a given set of circumstances is the key to success. One shoe does not fit all! The presenters will discuss various renewable energy options available and a process whereby you can decide which option makes the most sense for you, your business, or our town.

Presenters include representatives from a renewable energy vendor, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Clinton Alternative Energy Committee (www.clintonaec.org).
